SlackBot Buildsystem
The buildsystem can be used to install KDE, LXDE or various applications automatically from source. Select a category of packages, awnser a few questions and let the buildsystem do the rest.
The Buildtools
The buildtools will make compile single packages from source easy, as long as you have installed all required packages (if not, check the archive for other buildtools). Have a look here for more details.

SlackBot 4.0 a.k.a. 'WarBird' released!
It's more or less a snapshot from the mercurial tree, but should work on Slackware 13.37 and Slackware 14.0 (32bit or 64bit). Feel free to download the slackbot buildsystem from here or visit the sourceforge download area here.
